SCI June 11th BBQ Meet - Go!!!!!!!!

Due to the iminent chance of rain, we have launched this thread to advise if we are going to go ahead with the meet or not.

Right now theweathernetwork is reporting a 70% chance of rain on sunday.

Unfortutanely we do not have enough tents to cover the expected amount of guests this year. So the plan would be to move the date if it indeed is going to rain.

When are we going to make this call.

Thursday Afternoon

We will be monitoring the weather everyday and providing updates as we go.

From todays stand point it does not look good.

what are the chances of moving the venue down the steet towards Hurontario, there's a huge parking garage at the Samsung building just don't know if it's gated or not

the one Dave and Buster's meet 2 years ago was on a half rainy day but we had d&b to go inside to eat and play and then the sun came out after, I would still show even if it is raining

i guarantee that the forecast will change between today and sunday. the weather network always changes. they said may 24th weekend would be warm and sunny..but my camping trip turned out to be freezing and wet.

(i'd love to be a weatherman... the only job where you can be wrong all the time and still get paid.)

i say we still keep an eye out like danger said and make the call at a later date.

i am going to be in barrie until late afternoon that day. so honestly for me to show up, i'll need you guys to move the date. but i wouldn't want that to happen now would i.

i hope it doesn't rain, so you all can have a great time at the meet. but i really want to go aswell, so i hope for a rain delay.

i can't make up my mind
