No that blue ant wire on the aftermarket harness or power wire for an aftermarcket amp for subs that sends a signal to turn it on and off ,

Yeah you have to hack your factory harness cause the aftermarket doesnt have the wire.. its very simple to do . im just not sure if its the same colour wire on your car as it is on my car so i would double check that before you go cutting away.. but you just gota cut it from the factory harness then attach it to a power wire that turns on and off so the red wire (signal wire) and it will work just fine

What the blue wire?
Yeah pretty well for most decks may just be a different colour on some...

you just dont wana hook up the radio power ant to it cause the blue one from the aftermarket deck is a on off from the deck... so it would say subwoofer on/off so it would just be anoying going through your deck all the time finding the on/off function.. and if you ever wana run subs later on your gona run into problems if you have your radio wire taped into that ant wire for the on/off for the subs ,

ITs a very simple thing to do but i would just double check... best way is probely to call a sunaru dealer and talk to parts/service and tell them you got an aftermarket deck and tell them you radio doesnt work good and that some one mentioned about this wire.. and askthem what colour it is and where its located on the harness .. thats the hard part.. once you get that your golden its very simple to do

yea i already did the install, just the blue wire (power antenna) i didnt do anything about cause futureshop told me i didn't need it....
so i'm just going to attach it to the red wires that i electrical taped.
so connecting 3 wires together is okay right?

check my posting (#14) and follow directions on the link.

yea i checked it out
looks like i have to hack up the white wire and electrical tape that to the blue wire
i thought there would be another way to connect it without having to destroy the factory harness
